Our client is an entertainment group in Saudi Arabia, operating across live events, music, venues, and hospitality, with a growing regional and global presence. They are seeking a Group Marketing Director to be based in KSA, responsible for leading and transforming the marketing function at a group level. This role is critical in unifying a fragmented structure, elevating brand positioning, and delivering high-impact campaigns across a dynamic event calendar. Success will be defined by the ability to integrate multiple marketing streams, lead large-scale campaigns, and drive consistent, commercially aligned brand growth.

This is a director-level, strategic and hands-on leadership role with full ownership of group-wide marketing across events, venues, and music verticals. The role will focus on brand-led storytelling, campaign execution, and artist-driven marketing, while building structure, governance, and performance discipline across the function. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, working closely with senior leadership, creative stakeholders, and external agencies to deliver best-in-class marketing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and transform the group-wide marketing function, aligning multiple business units under a unified strategy
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across live events, hospitality, and music verticals
  • Drive brand positioning through high-impact, artist-led campaigns and experiential storytelling
  • Oversee agency-led PR and communications, ensuring consistent messaging and media impact
  • Structure and optimize the marketing organization, improving governance, processes, and team performance
  • Collaborate closely with events, commercial, and digital teams to ensure aligned campaign execution
  • Manage large-scale campaign planning tied to a complex and high-frequency event calendar
  • Build strong relationships with artists, creatives, and key stakeholders to enhance brand authenticity
  • Monitor performance metrics, budgets, and ROI to ensure commercially effective marketing delivery
  • Lead, mentor, and develop marketing leaders across multiple verticals within a matrixed environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage
  • 12-15+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles
  • Proven background in live entertainment, festivals, concerts, hospitality, or music-driven brands
  • Strong expertise in brand marketing, campaign delivery, and experiential/event-led marketing
  • Experience working with PR and creative agencies in an outsourced model
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity and structured execution
  • Proven leadership capability managing large, cross-functional teams and driving organizational change
  • Experience in the GCC, particularly KSA, is preferred; exposure to government-backed or high-profile national initiatives is advantageous
