Business Development Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator to join a busy and collaborative marketing and business development team. This role will support a range of strategic initiatives, helping to strengthen client relationships, raise market profile and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of pitches, proposals, capability statements and RFP responses.
- Maintain and update marketing collateral, credentials, trackers and BD databases.
- Coordinate legal directory and award submissions, liaising with lawyers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct client, market and competitor research to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Support practice group planning and business development initiatives focused on revenue growth.
- Coordinate client events, sponsorships and marketing campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
- Utilise CRM systems and relationship intelligence tools to support client development activities.
- Track sponsorships, memberships, events and engagement activities, ensuring effective follow-up and reporting.
Key Requirements
- Degree educated.
- At least 2 years‘ experience in business development, marketing or a client-facing role.
- Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally legal services.
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems and research platforms; knowledge of tools such as InterAction, PitchBook, Preqin or Capital IQ would be advantageous.
