Maps and Plans Head
A leading sports entity in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Head of Maps & Plans to support the planning and delivery of a major international sporting tournament. This role will be critical in establishing governance, accuracy, and operational readiness across all spatial materials used throughout the event lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement unified standards for map naming, content, formatting, and version control across all functions.
- Design and manage a publication schedule aligned with operational milestones and stakeholder requirements.
- Consolidate maps for stadiums, training sites, city sites, and headquarters, including operational flows, zoning, and delivery routes.
- Coordinate with functional areas to verify spatial documentation, resolve technical issues, and ensure consistent, high‑quality CAD outputs and graphical standards.
- Oversee the integration of maps and plans into a central GIS platform, enabling real‑time operational readiness and coordination with external stakeholders.
- Maintain a controlled single source of truth for all spatial materials, ensuring timely updates and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
- Senior‑level experience in GIS and CAD governance, spatial data management, and map standardisation.
- Proven background within a major sports event, mega‑event, or giga‑project environment.
- Strong understanding of multi‑venue operations, operational flows, and fast‑paced planning environments.
- Ability to work in a high‑responsibility, locally regulated operating environment and engage effectively with public‑sector and event stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
