This Business Development & Marketing Executive role is positioned in a leading law firm and will come in to support a Business Development Manager, focusing on the Intellectual Property practice group and the Media and Entertainment sector group. The role involves business development activities and a range of marketing tasks to support group initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposals: Assist in preparing proposals, compiling a credentials database, and monitoring proposal win/loss rates.
  • Directory Submissions: Support the compilation of directory submissions for relevant categories.
  • Sector/Service Initiatives: Conduct sector/service research, identify new clients, and implement plans to increase profile and generate fees.
  • New Business: Manage and develop a pipeline for new business, researching new clients and identifying opportunities.
  • Client Development: Assist with client development, providing research, analysis, and information on fees and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Events: Implement and manage event logistics, providing support for conferences and industry events.
  • Marketing Communications: Assist with marketing communications projects, including award submissions, brochures, newsletters, and website content.
  • CRM Maintenance: Promote effective use of the firm’s CRM database, cleansing data for key clients and pipeline targets.

The successful candidate for this role will have some experience in a business development and/or marketing role in a professional services environment.
