This Business Development Executive opportunity sits in a leading US law firm and will play a key role in driving business development activities for the restructuring, funds and litigation teams. Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, this is a really exciting opportunity to come into an evolving firm and have the opportunity to work autonomously and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to BD Managers and the Client Events Director on various BD, events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of client events and conferences, including logistics and coordination with attorneys.
  • Support activities related to client relations and firm promotion, including media relations.
  • Draft and produce attorney bios, practice profiles, brochures, and presentation materials.
  • Assist with legal directory and award submissions.
  • Conduct research on current and prospective clients using internal databases and other resources.
  • Maintain client initiative and targeting trackers.
  • Prepare drafts of pitches and RFPs, including executive summaries.
  • Coordinate logistics for pitch/RFP production and delivery.
  • Participate in matter maintenance of the firm’s tracking system, including updates and data collection for directories and awards.

Personal Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a law firm, professional services, or business environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, including writing, editing, and presentation skills.
