This Pitch Manager will join a Business Development team in a leading international law firm. This is opportunity offers direct exposure to senior lawyers and a broad range of colleagues internationally. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up into a manager role.

As Pitch Manager, you will be instrumental in developing compelling and client-focused pitches to secure profitable work. You’ll work closely with practice-area and sector lawyers, as well as BD and marketing colleagues, to craft winning proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Excellence: The role involves creating compelling pitch materials (proposals, presentations, etc.) that highlight the firm’s strengths and client-focused solutions.
  • End-to-End Pitch Management: This includes overseeing the entire pitch process from initiation to post-pitch analysis, with a focus on maximising conversion rates and profitability.
  • Resource and Infrastructure Development: Building and maintaining a centralized pitch content library, tools, and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with various internal teams (Finance, Risk, Marketing, etc.) to gather insights and ensure cohesive pitch strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyzing pitch performance, staying updated on industry trends, and refining processes to enhance effectiveness.
  • Pricing Strategy: Working to improve pricing methodologies within proposals.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to the BD team, fostering collaboration, and maintaining high standards.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Measuring pitch success through data analysis and providing feedback for improvement.

The successful candidate for this role will have proven business development and pitching experience from a legal sector environment.
