Director, Social Media (Beauty)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead content planning, creation, and distribution across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and others.
- Manage and mentor a team of social media professionals and external partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to ensure unified messaging and brand identity.
- Monitor industry trends, platform changes, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee influencer and user-generated content programs to enhance reach and authenticity.
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize for engagement, growth, and conversion.
- Represent the brand in social conversations, maintaining consistent tone and messaging.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of social media experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity within beauty.
- Demonstrated success scaling social media for consumer brands, preferably in beauty, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.
- Expertise in platform-specific strategies, especially TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong creative vision and ability to guide visual storytelling.
- Proficient with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Genuine interest in clean beauty, wellness, and community-driven marketing.
