Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager
Our client is a modern lifestyle quick‑commerce platform expanding its footprint in Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager to ensure high product availability, accurate forecasting, and efficient replenishment across all categories.
This role sits within the commercial team and is responsible for forecasting, inventory planning, supplier pipeline coordination, and reducing expiry while maintaining strong stock health across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Build accurate SKU‑level forecasts based on trends, seasonality, and promotional plans
- Maintain rolling forecasts, identifying risks such as low stock or overstock
- Interface weekly with Commercial teams to update demand assumptions
- Recommend order quantities balancing availability and expiry risk
Inventory Planning & Replenishment
- Own replenishment strategy including min/max levels and safety stock
- Ensure strong coverage for fast movers and promotional SKUs
- Monitor daily availability and coordinate replenishments
- Flag slow movers and recommend clearance strategies
Supplier Pipeline & PO Management
- Manage supplier PO cycles, inbound schedules, lead times, and delivery accuracy
- Track supplier KPIs including fill rate and on‑time delivery
- Coordinate early shipments for major seasonal periods
- Align PO volumes with commercial growth plans
Expiry Reduction & Freshness
- Identify expiry risks early and develop markdown or promo actions
- Set freshness standards for sensitive categories
- Report expiry and shrinkage with root‑cause analysis
Systems, Data & Reporting
- Use ERP/WMS systems to track stock, forecasts, and inbound flows
- Maintain demand/supply dashboards and KPI reports
- Support automation of forecasting and replenishment tools
Requirements
- Experience in FMCG, retail, e‑commerce, or quick‑commerce supply chain planning
- Strong forecasting and replenishment expertise
- Hands‑on experience with ERP/WMS and inventory management systems
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Experience managing expiry‑sensitive, fast‑moving categories preferred
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
