Senior Contracts Officer – DOHA
Our client is a prominent hospitality and events organization seeking a skilled Senior Contracts Officer to manage multiple contracts and oversee tendering processes. This role is essential in ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic vendor engagement across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level advice on procurement and contracting activities, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines and legal requirements.
- Draft and review contracts for goods, services, minor and major works, construction, and contract variations.
- Lead contract negotiations with vendors and stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end tendering processes.
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Maintain and report monthly updates on all contracts awarded by the department.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in contract management and tendering.
- Strong understanding of procurement regulations and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
