Country Head – UAE & KSA
Our client is a global investment and operations group with a strong focus on the food and FMCG sectors. They are seeking a Country Head to lead and scale their UAE operations while overseeing market development in KSA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of operations in the UAE, while developing market presence in KSA.
- Build and manage a lean team, including Commercial Managers and support staff.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across multiple categories (e.g., fresh produce, dry foods, beauty, alcohol).
- Establish and grow B2B sales channels, retail partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with global trading and procurement teams to align pricing and supply chain strategies.
- Identify new growth opportunities and drive innovation across product categories.
- Represent the company in key industry forums and build strategic relationships across the region.
Requirements:
- 12-15 years of experience in commercial leadership roles, with proven success launching brands or categories in the UAE.
- Strong trading experience and exposure to both imports and exports
- Strong experience and network in KSA market development.
- Deep understanding of retail and distribution landscapes in the UAE.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to business building.
- Background in startups or challenger brands is highly preferred.
- Experience across both food and non-food categories is a strong advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
