An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator to join a high-performing marketing and business development team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Supporting the London office and wider international BD function, you will be involved in a broad range of activities including events, pitches, CRM, research, directories and strategic business development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate business development events, including invitations, RSVPs, attendee management, event materials and post-event follow-up.
  • Support legal directory and award submissions, including content gathering, submission tracking and maintaining related databases.
  • Maintain CRM systems, client contact data and mailing lists, while assisting with client research and reporting.
  • Assist with pitch and proposal preparation, credential searches, content updates and submission management.
  • Conduct market, client and competitor research to support business development initiatives, sponsorship opportunities and strategic projects.
  • Support the production of client relationship reports, matter capture updates and financial tracking activities.
  • Assist with wider marketing and business development projects, including thought leadership campaigns and flagship events.
  • Provide general BD administration, including invoice processing, expense management, presentation updates and maintaining marketing materials.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a business development, marketing or related role.
  • Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as DealCloud, Foundation or similar systems would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
