Carter Murray Retail in Dubai are looking for a Visual Merchandise Manager for a leading business based in Kuwait.
We are looking for a Area Visual Merchandiser to look after the Kuwait market of stores for a number of luxury brands.
The role reports into the Head of Visual Merchandising and has the following core responsibilities:
Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy.
Designs in-store visual displays in support of the organization's sales objectives.
Developed and executed merchandise planning strategies to maximise sale and profitability for stores
Analysed business trends and implemented creative strategies to enhance exposure and profitability.
Planned and maintained store's merchandising aesthetic including mannequin, interior, and window displays
Prepare and execute visual merchandising signage and provide solutions to specific marketing requirement and manage all promotional events
Supporting the stores with in store merchandising, windows and launches through model store and center of excellence, Delivering high Brand standards and consistency IN in all stress to drive footfall
Work Closely with Other Functions through Planning and Communication, Ensure Product, Marketing and Visual Merchandising are aligned on a Monthly Basis.
Forward Planning Working Closely Within The Retail And Marketing Calendars
Keeping Within Visual Merchandising Budgets, Always Be Cost Effective When Ordering Props And Working With Suppliers
Work with planning and operations department and develop ways to increase inventory through merchandising store capacity and load.
Analyse trade requirement and design strategies with help of new visual ideas.
Created exciting displays, organised, grouped, and merchandised stock to maximise sales. Training and Development
Managing, Supporting and Training the visual team and IN-STORE team on visual merchandising Guide lines .
Created a training program based on corporate merchandising and presentation standards
Organise training workshops for visual merchandising and assist in setting up of training centers for same. Host Brand Coordination
Direct Liaison With Host Brand, Building Strong Relationships And Ensure We Are Providing Feedback, Following The Brand Direction, Standards And Implementing The Seasonal Themes Supplied By The Brands, Ensuring Costs Are Managed Throughout The Process.
Participate in various trade shows and live events. New Store Openings
Support with New Store Openings, Closings and Refurbishments From Critical Path Management Through To Completion.
Coordinate with visual merchandising team and analyse zone set up requirement for individual store category.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in looking after a number of stores / departments
- BA Hons - with a preference to have emphasis on creative
- Have previously managed a team
- Preference for regional experience in the Middle East
- Have a track record of strong relationships with host brands and excellent communication skills
