Technical Account Manager

The role:

  • Managing technical relationships with partners in Australia and New Zealand region under the guidance of the APAC Strategic Account Manager
  • Acting as the technical escalation point for potential issues in the region
  • Providing product training and technical support to our business partners
  • Gathering market feedback for various product teams related to local needs
  • Representing Alarm.com at various trade shows and other event
  • Staying up to date with new product releases in order to properly respond to partner enquiries

The ideal candidate

  • Bachelors in an Engineering, IT, or Sciences field
  • 3-5 years work experience in technical support and/or sales
  • The ability to communicate with customers and vendors, both in writing and verbally in a clear, professional manner
  • A highly motivated self-starter who is able to operate independently
  • Excellent people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition - candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
