Carter Murray have partnered with a leading, global, investment business assisting with the recruitment of an Senior Content Strategist & Editor.
Working with key stakeholders, the Content Editor is responsible for helping shape and deliver the team's overall content strategy as well as first class content ensuring the team's strategy is always aligned to the wider Global Marketing team's priorities.
The individual will also write and edit news pieces, thought leadership, market insights features and educational content - leveraging content for other format needs e.g. infographics, videos, podcasts etc. always taking a digital first approach.
The Senior Content Strategist and Editor will also take responsibility for working with local marketing professionals to agree how that content could be re-used in full or in part by local market websites. Taking a customer-centric approach, and working closely with the Head of Content Strategy & Editorial (as well as segment/product marketing, the digital communications function and investment platforms), delivering content which will be leveraged across all channels, including in particular the global website.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have;
- A degree in English, journalism, marketing or communications, with professional certifications such as the CFA desirable
- At least five years' experience within the asset management or financial services industry, with a solid understanding of economic and investment concepts, portfolio construction and regulatory environment
- Proven track record of delivery high-quality content, with a strong knowledge of the investment marketplace and of the topics relevant to the different target audiences (from consumers to institutional)
