Senior Brand Manager – Food
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Manager to shape and activate impactful consumer strategies for their food brands. This role focuses on delivering localized consumer engagement while aligning with overarching brand visions. You will play a pivotal role in translating global strategies into local contexts, driving superior brand engagement initiatives, and ensuring flawless execution of marketing activations.
Responsibilities:
- Consumer Strategy Activation: Shape and implement tailored consumer engagement strategies, adapting global brand visions to meet local consumer needs. Lead the activation of brand strategies, ensuring that initiatives resonate with target audiences.
- Portfolio Strategy: Implement portfolio strategies based on the role of each brand. Recommend resource allocation to achieve targets and track the performance of marketing investments across categories and brands.
- Pricing Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies for various product formats, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Support the review and approval of new formats through the governance process.
- Brand Engagement and Activation: Drive brand essence activation and execute brand guidance. Develop and oversee local activations, content deployment, and promotional plans, ensuring full cross-functional coordination with stakeholders.
- Brand Performance Monitoring: Track brand performance and health metrics. Develop brand plans that include clear activation strategies and any necessary initiatives, while addressing gaps and supporting overall business goals.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain close alignment with cross-functional teams, including local teams and headquarters, to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies. Regularly update central teams on brand performance and key learnings.
- Innovation and Renovation (I&R) Deployment: Lead the end-to-end deployment of innovation and renovation projects, ensuring the successful launch of new products. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product packaging, promotion, and communication are aligned with business needs.
- Campaign Localization and Amplification: Localize and adapt global brand campaigns to create impactful, relevant initiatives. Develop integrated media plans, including influencer engagement, in collaboration with media and digital teams.
- Digital and Shopper Centricity: Collaborate with eCommerce and digital teams to create tailored digital content, track digital KPIs, and ensure the alignment of digital strategies with brand objectives. Gather insights on consumer and shopper behaviour to inform future brand strategies.
- Business Planning: Lead the implementation of comprehensive, cross-functional business plans in alignment with regional and local teams. Ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall business objectives and market opportunities.
