My client is a leading provider of lending and transaction banking solutions to the global financial services industry. Its software powers the operations of more than 200 financial institutions in 50 countries, supporting retail banking, corporate banking, cash management, internet banking, automotive finance & other business areas.

Due to growth, they have a newly created Sales Director – Services role for the SEA region,

The Role:

  • New Business Development into BFSI sector
  • New Logo development
  • Establishing and cultivating executive relationships at a senior level.
  • Advising clients on IT services (Big Data, Application Development, Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, Consulting Services) for the Financial Services sector
  • Understanding the organization, structure, and business model of clients and develop relationships with decision makers, and technical/sales operatives to ensure efficient communication and productivity.
  • Leading and managing account initiatives, architectural wins and identifying new strategies & incentives for field engagement and business success
  • Creating and running a account structure for pipeline creation, growth leading to wins
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to Strategic Partners and different Business Units
  • Leading the relationships and owning the partner sales quota for the Australia
  • Contributing to a Strategic Partner business plan for alliance solutions and initiatives
  • Organizing monthly progress meetings and quarterly business reviews for the assigned Client

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10-15 years’ experience in IT Sales – selling services
  • Direct selling exposure and experience in IT services of handling large key accounts in the banking/ financial services domain
  • Previous experience selling Services such as, Big Data, Application Development, Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, Consulting Services etc to BFSI clients
  • Previous experience managing and building relationships with large banking clients
  • Exposure to SEA Market
  • Ability to sell and upsell
  • Strong Fintech or software sales experience
  • Experience selling technology into the Financial Services sector
