Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic public relation plans to grow the Akris brand, increase brand awareness and editorial coverage
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including editors, journalists, influencers, and stylists
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for media coverage in print, online, and broadcast media channels
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits and other PR materials
  • Assess requests and opportunities for interviews and liaise between the Creative Director and the media partners
  • Contribute to the Akris social media presence and growth, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media when establishing meaningful relations with key opinion leaders, tastemakers and influencers with purpose
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and sales, to ensure PR activities align with business goals
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR metrics to measure the success of campaigns and provide regular reporting to senior management team
  • Plan and execute high-profile events, including press days, product and collection launches and store openings
  • Actively contribute to the bi-annual defile at the Paris Fashion Week, ensure high media attendance, meet editors, stylists and journalists during the Paris Fashion Week and seek opportunities for collaborations


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the fashion and/or lifestyle industry
  • Strong media relations and a deep understanding of the fashion and lifestyle landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and pitch stories to media platforms
  • Natural networking ability – seeking to build meaningful and sustainable relations with key opinion leaders, journalists, and stylists
  • Proven history of creating successful PR campaigns, spanning across different marketing disciplines
  • Experience in social media and the ability to create synergies between owned, earned, and paid media opportunities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
