Carter Murray have partnered with a well-known brand in the UK who are seeking to bring on board a Partnerships Planning Manager to join their successful Partnerships and Business Development team in London.

You will be joining one of the leading names in the telecommunications industry, who are worth over £10bn in revenue.

This role is key for achieving the best from their partnerships ambitions, leading the commercial relationships with some of their biggest consumer brands, to drive revenue and profit and deliver a brilliant customer experience. You will be a key part of the team that operates as the single-entry point for some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands. You will help develop and deliver key initiatives with ultimate responsibility for the success of the partnership and delivering a positive commercial impact.

  • Key part of the team, facilitating a single-entry point for their partners and single point back to them to secure the relationship and optimise commercial opportunities.
  • Scope out monthly, quarterly, ad hoc and new product launch trading initiatives across all categories.
  • Negotiate pricing, rebates and incremental support to deliver the trading initiatives.
  • Contract negotiations for products, services and marketing.
  • Implement, via cross functional tram, the pricing and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate closely with forecasting and supply chain teams to ensure ongoing forecast accuracy, stock availability and Business Plan outlooks.
  • Support reporting and information sharing activities for external and internal weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Undertake post implementation reviews of all promotional activity and share best practices.
  • Work with Partner Marketing Manager to ensure channel compliance for all agreed activity including merchandising, launch execution, frontline engagement, training and adhering to partner brand guidelines.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive revenue streams.

Required experience

  • Experience of Partnerships Management.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment to deliver against challenging trading targets.
  • Experience in navigating complex and high value negotiations and achieving strong commercial results.
  • Senior stakeholder management, presenting and aligning on high priority plans and gaining sign off/support for high value/high business impact commercial deals.
  • Bold decision making.
