Marketing Operations Manager- Financial Services

Perm £50k -£65k (Depending on Level and experience)

Based- London (Hybrid)

An exciting new permanent opportunity to join a fast-growing FinTech who is currently recruiting for an Marketing Operations to join their dynamic and growing team in London.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for building the technical capabilities of the department across all digital channels, and support the company growth objectives by streamlining processes, optimising data capture, and enhancing the client journey with marketing automation and client relationship management integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall marketing technology eco-system (platforms, systems, tools) as systems expert and technical owner liaising with the Tech team and 3rd party providers when required.
  • Lead the practical implementation of a marketing platform (most likely HubSpot).
  • Build, maintain and optimise the marketing technology stack that supports a continuous improvement of the overall marketing function effectiveness, performance, and client journey.
  • Be responsible for integration and maintenance of the various Google suite of products that the marketing team uses for campaign research and execution
  • Provide technological support for our marketing data capture and acquisition strategies, including cookie strategy/process, consents/preferences.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Managers to measure the effectiveness and results of executed campaigns
  • Serve as an expert resource to marketing on the custom development and integration of marketing technologies.
  • Attend sprint reviews with Tech as an advocate of the marketing team
  • Lead the procurement of new marketing technology solutions.
  • Oversee training of marketing software and user adoption, offer technical support, and resolve marketing technology-related issues.

Essential Skills and experience for both

  • A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in procuring, implementing and optimising marketing technology solutions
  • Experience working within the financial services sector is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing automations and email marketing platforms (HubSpot, MailChimp etc.)
  • Hands-on experience of Google Suite of products (GA4, Google Tag, Search console, Data studio etc.) and WordPress
  • Good working knowledge of Dynamic365 (CRM) and D365 Ecosystem
  • Practical experience of HTML & JavaScript would be a plus
  • Strong understanding of commercial drivers for the business, being able to adapt marketing technology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a great sense of ownership and accountability 
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively within the wider team
  • Great work ethic 
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Personable and friendly manner
