Are you a Marketing Leader looking for a dynamic role that offers an array of responsibilities and the chance to lead a dedicated team? We have the perfect opportunity with our client, a renowned insurance firm.

Role Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you will take the reins of our client’s marketing function, steering it towards success. Your key mission is to craft and execute a strategic marketing plan encompassing E-Commerce and Commercial channels, aligning with overarching business objectives.

There will be 2 direct reports for this role, so a minimum for 1 years management/team lead experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy to drive business objectives.
  • Be the guardian of our client’s brand, driving its evolution and amplifying brand awareness across key markets.
  • Oversee all messaging and content, including website content, client communications, and social media.
  • Craft, manage, and supervise campaigns across diverse media channels.
  • Plan, create, and oversee paid search campaigns and other advertising channels.
  • Stay updated on market trends and shifts in relevant legislation.
  • Keep abreast of E-Commerce and digital strategy trends and technology changes.
  • Conduct market research, including competitor, customer, and general market analysis.
  • Ensure a seamless end-to-end E-Commerce customer experience.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities through product development and launch campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to design and launch E-Commerce and commercial products.
  • Measure and report on marketing performance metrics and ROI.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing budget, including supplier relationships.
  • Leverage external resources to execute the marketing strategy.
  • Partner with an external PR agency to communicate the brand effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to uphold the brand across all business activities.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team in alignment with business needs and individual development goals.

Skills and Experience Specification:

Essential:

  • Minimum 3-5 years Marketing Manager experience
  • Demonstrable experience in both digital and creative marketing
  • Proven experience is designing and delivering strategic marketing plans
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering impactful campaigns across a variety of channels
  • Proven experience managing search campaigns, including organic SEO and paid search
  • Experience in developing and managing a social media strategy
  • Experience in developing and managing a content strategy
  • Experience in managing an e-commerce website
  • Experience in brand management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of analytical tools, including Google Analytics and Google Adwords

Desirable:

  • Experience operating within the contractor/freelancer support sectors
  • Knowledge of tax legislations affecting self-employed workers, i.e. IR35
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurance market in general
