Marketing and Business Development Executive

Carter Murray have exclusively partnered with an industry leader in the Legal sector who are seeking an experienced Marketing and Business Development Executive, based in London, with knowledge of client relationship management and strategic development to join the business at a critical stage in their growth plans following covid.

Role Overview

You will report to the Co-Head of the London Business Development team and work with the wider London, Brussels and Frankfurt Marketing team to shape and deliver the go to market strategy to support growth plans, supporting in developing and implementing marketing and business development. You will help identify and implement initiatives that increase the company’s market visibility and brand recognition in key target markets.


  • Manage the tracking, analysis and reporting of pitches and BD opportunities in the firm’s tracking database, Salesforce, and monitor for appropriate follow-up.
  • Have an ability to handle and filter data to support BD initiatives, such as looking for appropriate client targets for an event
  • Create and draft well written, targeted pitches and proposals in conjunction with the Co-Heads of Business. Provide bid support to internal teams throughout the bid cycle.
  • Manage and monitor the distribution of external marketing communications.
