This client has an exciting opportunity for a “best in class” Account Manager. They are the dynamic market leader in the travel, publishing, books, and catalogue printing markets which print for the ‘who’s who’ of Australian and International travel companies, publishers and retailers.

The Role

We are currently looking for a success-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic organization based in Sydney. You will be required to draw upon your knowledge base or experience in the market for publishing, retail and other commercial related print to offer strategic solutions to a range of small through large blue-chip clients.

The position of Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of customers and growing the portfolio through expansion of wallet share opportunities and business acquisition. This role will be required to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets through the development of profitable and sustainable customer relationships and developing the profitability of these customers through cross-sell opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will be:

· The primary accountabilities include budget responsibility, relationship development, reporting, business reviews, revenue growth, introduction of new initiatives and work processes to improve sales and production workflows and margin.

· The Account Manager needs to possess excellent print product knowledge to ensure opportunities are maximised by providing customers with a full solution package to suit their business needs.

· The position requires a person who is able to communicate at all management levels to ensure they can develop strong working relationships with all key stakeholders within the clients business.

Key requirements to be considered are:

· Experience in the Printing Industry

· Exceptional communicator with a strong creative flair, coupled with demonstrated business acumen and pipeline planning skills

· Proven track record in the Printing Industry for solution sales and first class customer service

· You will be a high achiever able to proactively identify new business opportunities

· A good working knowledge web and sheet offset would be well regarded
