Reporting into Group Corporate Communications, but embedded in the IT and HR teams, the Internal Communications Manager will support the delivery of clear, well-planned, audience-focused and effective IT and HR communications.
With at least three years' experience in designing and delivering engaging and impactful communications programmes, the Internal Communications Manager will be comfortable identifying and prioritising communications needs and will be responsible for the implementation of communication plans, from understanding stakeholder requirements through to writing, and seeking senior stakeholder approval for, all internal communications deriving from IT and HR. Experience of working in role that is embedded in an IT and/or HR environment would be an advantage. You will be highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.
It is the responsibility of the Internal Communications Manager to ensure that the tone and style of communications are consistent, audience-appropriate and in line with communication guidelines and relevant corporate policies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly and succinctly across diverse audiences, are essential.
