We are working with a leading organisation in Riyadh to find a seasoned Head of Marketing and Communications. This role will drive comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand presence, engage key stakeholders, and support strategic objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in marketing leadership with a focus on strategic brand growth and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on and implement marketing and PR strategies aligned with the client’s strategic objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
  • Oversee content creation, including articles, whitepapers, videos, and infographics, to showcase expertise, and ensure compliance with communications policies.
  • Plan and execute digital and traditional marketing campaigns to promote initiatives, services, and events, while driving online visibility and community growth through social media.
  • Cultivate strong media relationships to secure positive coverage, develop crisis communication plans, and advise the CEO on PR risks.
  • Organize and manage events, coordinating messaging, logistics, and brand exposure efforts, and collaborate with external agencies for unified communication.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing metrics, preparing performance reports and refining strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Shape and execute short- and long-term strategies, aligning them with organisational goals and translating them into actionable business plans.
  • Provide strategic direction and performance oversight, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting talent development.
  • Lead budgeting, monitor financial performance, and identify areas for improvement to meet targets.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and operational standards, implementing policies and controls to maintain risk and audit requirements.
  • Regularly report to executives on sector performance, offering insights and strategic recommendations to guide decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis communication and public relations.
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Relevant certificates in marketing, digital marketing, public relations, or communications are preferred. Advanced training in carbon markets, renewable energy, or related fields.
