This is one of the most interesting and varied roles to come to the market of late and is at a leading global law firm that prides itself on the high level of client access its marketing and business development function enjoys. The purpose of the role is to lead on shaping the themes and issues that the firm is going to talk to clients about and work with those clients to make sure that the solutions the firm is offering are different, relevant and commercial for them. You and your team will then devise, develop and deliver the campaigns and client interaction that take those solutions to market.
You'll be leading a global team, you'll work incredibly closely with the most senior lawyers in the firm and you'll be part of the leadership team of the marketing and business development function. Legal experience is absolutely not required for this role; the main requirements for the role is to be a very commercial operator who is able to look at changes in markets, regulation and wider business activity and be able to see where threats and opportunities present themselves for clients of the firm.
