There is an opportunity to join a leading, global construction services firm in a Head of Marketing Communications role. The position will cover Asia and the Middle East as a region, developing and implementing marketing strategy while working closely with the Global Marketing team in London.

Responsibilities;

  • Aligned with group MarComms responsible for creating and delivering a strategic marketing and communications plan to support Asia and Middle East business objectives
  • Deliver thought leadership campaigns that positions the business as smarter than the competitor pack extending reach into key titles and influencers
  • Drives a strong culture of measuring effectiveness and ROI
  • Recognising 'people' as a priority audience, devise and deliver smart Internal Communications programmes to create engagement
  • Keeps abreast of market developments, competitors and trends
  • Conducts customer experience interviews as requested and reports back to board
  • Reports to the Group Marketing and Communications Director
  • Business partner to the Asia and ME leadership team
  • Line manages two senior marketing communications executives
  • Working relationships and integration with the wider marketing department
  • Active member of the global MarComms team, contributing ideas and sharing knowledge
  • Contributes to overall team performance, communicating openly, solving problems proactively
  • Responsible for managing own budget
  • Contributes to the financial management processes and business planning processes
  • Effectively plans and budgets for specific projects and campaigns
Requirements;
  • Fluent in business-to-business marketing and communications strategy planning and execution ideally within the built environment
  • Proven leadership experience in delivering high impact thought leadership campaigns
  • Proven experience of delivering effective digital programmes effectively using social media to create engagement
  • Full marketing mix including market research and analysis, campaign development, event management and report writing
  • Good knowledge of marcomms systems including website CMS and CRM systems
  • Exceptional leader and line manager who understands how to motivate and inspire a team
  • Impressive stakeholder manager who can take non-discipline stakeholders with them on the journey to a more strategic approach to marketing and communications
  • Positive and can-do attitude with a proactive, practical approach
  • Flexible, committed team leader, empathetic to others' needs and objectives
  • High self-motivation and the ability to influence others and exercise judgement
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, while retaining an exceptional attention to detail
