Carter Murray is looking for a Head of Global Business Strategy with an international experience in FMCG industry and a good knowlegde of SOPs in MNCs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Think tank for company strategy worldwide; integrate across markets as appropriate
  • Develop global vision and mission statements
  • Develop the company's story to convey the message to the world
  • Identify global strategy for transparency with the consumer
  • Develop global strategy in nutrition and foods, including dosage forms
  • Transform vision to strategy for execution.
  • Align each subsidiary's executive decisions with corporate objectives
  • Standardize the legal agreements with specific clauses to protect shareholder and the respective subsidiary
  • Ensure a unified technology platform across the group
  • Direct data analytics strategies across regions; connect consumer behavior to future product development and launch decisions
  • Develop global "online" marketing/e-commerce strategy
  • Evaluate and ensure current product ranges across all markets are up to par with other comparable MNCs
  • Align product launches across markets to maximize benefits
  • Identify new markets beyond the 106 in which we are present
  • Provide a forum for information sharing and learnings across markets
  • Regulate external communication
  • Provide direction to all the research centers of the group on product development
  • Allocate projects based on availability of resources in the centers
  • Determine the future direction of products
  • Factor ingredients allowable by country/region prior to product development
  • Evaluate available international product certifications
  • Evaluate location of additional research centers in the future as required
  • Research and identify latest technology regarding new options in packaging
  • Identify which location will develop and manufacture products with the objectives: reducing carbon footprint, cost, quality and proximity to selling market
  • Strategize and implement changes to packaging to ensure maximum recyclability, usage of minimal plastic/size of pack, eliminate multi-layer plastic and single-use plastic
  • Formulate SOPs by country, ensure accurate and consistent documentation
  • Evaluate intra-group sourcing of RM/PM and Finished Goods.

Minimun qualification & experience:

  • Require international exposure
  • Senior level leadership in product formulation/ideally someone who has headed R&D for an international company
  • Knowledge of international players in FMCG space, nutraceuticals, herbal products
  • Knowledge of SOPs in MNCs
  • International marketing experience/international market trends
  • International import/export rules/tax implications
  • Proficient in international economies/governments/laws/political conditions
  • Experience with production in international markets
