A business development leadership role has arisen at a highly prestigious global law firm. Based in London but leading an international team, this key, leadership role focuses on developing client understanding and the key issues that are going to affect them, positioning the firm as the trusted expert advisor of choice to those organisations. You'll be a key driver of how legal solutions are developed, positioned and then delivered to clients working with partners and client teams globally. The firm have structured the marketing and BD function so that the teams can concentrate on delivering the pro-active, high-value work that commercially strong BD professionals want to focus on instead of having capacity taken up with reactive tasks.
The ideal candidate is a senior, strategic business development and marketing leader who can demonstrate a strong track record of working with clients, understanding and anticipating their pain-points and the designing and delivering solutions to them. Commercial acumen and the ability to opportunity spot are key in this role along with the ability to develop global relationships.
