£70,000 – £80,000 plus OTE

Carter Murray have partnered with a leading TravelTech brand who are seeking to bring onboard a Head of Account Management to lead the account management team across Europe. The goal of this role is to work with your team of account managers to ensure they’re building strong relationships with existing customers with the goal of managing customer retention and delivering revenue growth.

You will be tasked with supporting and nurturing the account management team to develop long term and lasting relations with clients, encouragement and coaching them to be able to deep dive in to their clients needs and gain a deep and true understanding of their business, develop strategies to grow revenues and monitor and manage the level of service quality.

Responsibilities

You will be charged with the following but not limited to;

  • Leadership, mentoring and management of the account managers.
  • Improve client retention through monitoring and managing client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Achieving revenue, profit and service targets across the team.
  • Develop and deliver client account plans/strategies for growth.
  • Understanding and communicating the organisations value propositions and processes through proposals and presentations.
  • Analysing market trends, research competitor offers and communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data internally.
  • Working closely with and supporting the Managing Director to set budgets and financial targets.
  • Anticipate and solve problems.
  • Monitor and manage client performance and service quality.

Required skills & experiences.

The Head of Account Management will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences as a prerequisite for the role.

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding persuasion, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills and the ability to motivate people.
  • Management experience, including ability to manage multiple projects and achieve sales targets.
  • Knowledge of competitor research and market trend analysis.
  • Ability to show customers and other client stakeholders the company’s value proposition.
  • knowledgeable in creating client-focused solutions and positioning products and services against competitors.
  • A sound understanding of Office and CRM systems and processes,
  • A 3-5-year background in B2B selling technology solutions to the Travel industry.
