A market leading energy company operating globally across 20 countries and specialising within renewables and sustainability are looking for a global marketing events manager to join their successful growing marketing and communications function. The division is responsible for the voice and message of the company worldwide, as such this is a pivotal role within the organisation, as they continue to drive forward their sustainable growth plan.
Reporting directly in the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the events strategy globally. You will have experience in working with external corporate partners such as financial services or banks sustainability teams to collaborate on events, both virtually and in person. Part of this role will include negotiating global events packages, so you will need to be familiar with the pricing structure and how to get the best value and ROI through negotiation and influencing external event companies.
The strategy will lead to increased brand awareness and in turn investor credibility. You must be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills on a global level. Energy or renewables experience or exposure is strongly desirable,
This is a new role due to growth and in return you will receive a salary of £55k-£60k + 15% bonus, generous pension and holiday as well as industry leading benefits.
The HQ is based in London but this organisation offers a fully flexible working policy with the ability to work 100% remote if desired.
