Our client is a world leading proponent of sustainable investment dedicated to driving positive change in the financial services sector and promoting sustainability through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for impactful events, we are seeking a talented Events Director to join our client.
As the Events Director for our client, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the events strategy globally, with a focus on investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions.
This role demands a creative and strategic mind, capable of delivering high-profile events that engage key stakeholders, foster meaningful connections, and showcase our commitment to responsible business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Plan and oversee all aspects of events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and networking events.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Leverage your background in either financial services or ESG sustainability to tailor events that resonate with our target audience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging topics to inform event content and design.
- Lead and inspire a team of event professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Provide guidance on event logistics, marketing, and post-event analysis.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- Proven experience in event management, with a focus on financial services and/or ESG sustainability.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and challenges.
- Senior stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams.
- Travel the world with global events.
