Engagement Lead

Carter Murray is working exclusively with a global engineering consultancy firm who are looking for an Engagement Leader to develop and grow a key part of the business as the firm invest in their rapidly growing stakeholder engagement and communication advisory offering.

At the centre of multi-disciplinary teams, you will be working on some significant projects to help achieve project goals and in particular, delivering communications, compliant consultation and engagement for regulatory processes. You will give advice to clients, providing proactive communications and risk mitigation strategies, which create opportunities, add social value and build advocacy for projects.

In addition to your client responsibilities, you will lead staff and project teams across defined projects, managing and mentoring consultants and junior staff to ensure delivery is of a consistently high standard.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree (or equivalent), experience in the built environment with a understanding of the UK planning process, have strong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
