A global business within the FTSE 250 is looking for a Director of IR to join its IR team and help to build and execute an effective IR programme and manage stakeholder communications.
You will work closely with finance, communications and all business units internally to increase awareness of the IR function and enable the delivery of accurate and timely information. You will manage the relationships with the sellside analysts, ensuring consensus is up to date and managed appropriately, and the investment message is well understood. You will be the key point of contact for investors and will lead investor meetings and roadshows. You will lead on the drafting for all announcements around financial results as well as presentations, Q&As and briefing documents. You will also prepare the materials for capital markets days and any other market communications. You will work closely with board members to share with them market sentiment and investor feedback, share price movements and views from the sellside.
The business has had some headwinds over the last few years but importantly are now at an inflexion point with a relatively new management team. Therefore the company are on a journey of change and the successful candidate must be comfortable with elements of ambiguity and re focus. This is a broad role and would suit someone who wants to be involved in all aspects of IR. Previous IR or capital markets experience is essential as is high financial literacy.
