Our Client is an international operating consumer electronics manufacturer. Due to continuous growth we are currently seeking to recruit an outstanding "Customer Marketing Manager Germany" to be based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic planning and driving the execution of: partner centric sell through campaigns, partner wide retail activities, events, channel stock check and sell-through data
  • Maximize POS visibility, recommendation & sell through
  • Consistent with partner strategy across all channels
  • Accountable for budget control
  • Ensure that all tools and activities are aligned to partner and market needs
  • Develop local initiatives with the partners, design and implement local campaigns
  • Have a perfect understanding of what "added value" means to local field team, in terms of core product (product, features, prices) and extended product (services, applications, content, accessories).
  • Execution of specific programs and campaigns within the local partner marketing strategy
  • Responsible for adapting the global creative strategy to ensure relevance and effectiveness within the local market and for implementation of retail campaigns and support for local rollouts
  • Support clients Mobile brand objectives and drives for optimum brand exposure in the local market
  • Identification, development and execution of local sales and marketing opportunities and promotions in partnership with Account Managers and local Area Management

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Formal marketing education is essential
  • An academic qualification is preferred, knowledge in ecommerce is advantageous
  • Relevant working experience of min. 3 years
  • First-hand insight of high tech/telecoms market desirable but not essential
  • Experience of briefing & assessing creative proposals
  • Proficiency in managing agencies and budgets
  • Competence in reading, assimilating and interpreting market information
  • Excellent customer facing and presenting skills
  • Ability to inspire and enthuse others
  • Proactive, reliable and loyal team player, result and customer-oriented
  • Verbal and written fluency in German and English is a must
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS-Office package
