NEW Client Market & Market Development Manager- Corporate M&A with leading global law firm.
The Client Market & Market Development Manager- Corporate M&A will work with partners, sector leaders and client teams on specific business development opportunities including research in relations to prospective clients and market opportunities and creation and delivery of pitch documentation. You will work in close collaboration with offices through-out this law firm's network and lead on several key client relationships- including direct client contact and act as a core team member in delivering relationship support.
The role will specifically support Partners across the London Corporate practice- in particular M&A and sector leaders, particularly the global Mining and Oil and Gas groups, through the delivery and project management of business development, client focus and marketing initiatives.
You will have line management responsibilities shaping the Corporate team by managing individuals and foster a collaborative environment by mentoring junior staff.
The role will involve bid support, managing the production of RFP responses, pitches, capability and credential statements and working with C&MD team to coach partners on effective pitch preparation and presentation. You will lead on a select number of client teams and ensuring the information is shared between the client teams and client plans are implemented.
Successful candidates will have previous Business Development Manager experience from the professional services, preferably in a law firm and broad experience dealing with senior management and key stakeholders. You will have previous experience of the energy and resources sector and strong line management experience.
