NEW Business Development Manager- Transactional role with award winning independent law firm.
This Business Development Manager, Transactional role will report in to the Head of Business Development and is responsible for the business development and marketing activities for the Corporate Finance and Finance practice groups. The role is both strategic and operational focused on delivering a first class service to the partners in these groups.
You will provide input into the business planning process, helping identify market and client trends, and growth opportunities from existing and new potential clients and create targeted business development and marketing plans that flow from the business plans, to help achieve the financial, client and market positioning and penetration objectives. You will monitor, analyse and report on activity against objectives including ROI as appropriate and work closely with the firm's Client Relationship Advisor to ensure that client action plans are created, monitored, supported and actioned for the most significant clients. A key component will be identifying common elements with action plans for other clients across the firm as well as coordinating the intersection with firm wide client initiatives. You will work with the Head of Business Development and other Business Development Managers to ensure that activities are aligned across practice groups to ensure a 'one firm' approach to clients and to business development activities.
Successful candidates will have previous business development experience in a professional services organisation or relevant advisory service. You will have experience working in a transactional practice and have prior experience of managing a team or a direct report.
