We are presenting an outstanding opportunity to work with a next-generation investment firm combining a traditional investment fund with a market leading fintech platform, who specialise in the world of real estate private debt and equity. Our client is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join and be part of their London team.

This role would be ideal for strong Growth Managers, Strategic Partnership Managers or Business Development professionals who have extensive experience working within a scaling start-up, venture capital fund, or a top tier strategy consulting firm.

JOB SUMMARY/ MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Playing an integral role in scaling this area of the business for the UK market
  • Helping to launch the online platform operations for the UK audience
  • Supporting the scaling of operations of a new geography
  • Shaping and executing the growth strategy, including proactively identifying new growth areas & opportunities (e.g. new customer segments, new business fields)
  • Independently running robust analyses to determine the attractiveness and feasibility of new strategies and recommending the best course of action
  • Creating compelling presentation decks to bring management & relevant stakeholders on board
  • Independently driving strategic projects
  • Identifying opportunities and setting up partnerships with relevant stakeholders to help support our rapid growth ambitions for the UK market
  • Conducting ongoing market research and reporting / advising management based on your findings (e.g. innovative and attractive business models, potential M&A opportunities)
  • Supporting the strategic expansion of the company in the UK
  • Establishing relationships with stakeholders across the company to set-up, run and deliver strategic projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a top tier strategy consulting firm, venture capital fund, fast growing start-up, or similar field
  • In-depth analytical skills combined with creativity, dynamism, and excellent negotiation skills
  • An ambitious, autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset
  • High degree of flexibility in your working style
  • Interest in the start-up & tech space
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written English skills, other European languages desirable
