My client is a leading digital marketing agency specialising in providing innovative and customised solutions to businesses across various industries. They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive with 4 or more years of experience to join their growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, generating sales, and establishing long-term client relationships.


  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and proactively seek out potential clients in the Australian market through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive analysis, and potential target markets.
  • Marketing services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations to understand their business needs and provide tailored digital marketing solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services. Collaborate with the internal team, including marketing, operations, and delivery, to ensure smooth client onboarding and successful project execution.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections using the company’s CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices to effectively articulate the value proposition of our Marketing to clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
  • Proven 4+ years of experience in sales and business development within the digital marketing industry, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills. Proficient in using CRM software to track sales activities and manage client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events, as required.
