Business Development Associate

My client is the leading marketplace globally for corporate knowledge. Corporate companies globally engage them to find experts in every field who can then provide industry advise to them. The role of Business Development Associate s is to work with the overall sales team to maxamise revenue and grow activity within a large set of accounts.

The Role

  • Executing time-sensitive projects for clients working within a specialised team
  • Business Development into existing clients both phone and face to face
  • Upsell and cross sell services into new areas of the account to increase revenue and exposure
  • Enhancing your knowledge of your clients by building strong relationships with them
  • Working with the Account Management team to grow revenue and ensure retention of existing accounts
  • Collaborating with other teams such as Events, Strategic Projects and Survey teams to pitch and execute a wide range of products
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings

The ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A Passion for Sales
  • 1-3 years experience selling a solution or service
  • Account mapping to find new potential revenue streams in existing accounts
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and interest in financial markets and advantage
  • Successful track record working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) and ability to proactively engage senior professionals
  • Outstanding communication skills in English
