This role has a dual responsibility for both Marketing and BD for the firm across the MENA region, it reports to the regional head based in the UK so has significant autonomy. You will need to foster a strong relationship with the partners and senior leadership team within the business and be expected to contribute to broader business strategy as well as Marketing and BD. Given the nature of the team and the size of the office you'll also need to be hands on in developing your team and executing your strategy.
- Develop an annual BD and Marketing plan for the MENA region
- Work closely with partners to understand their strategic requirements and how your team contributes to these
- Ensure the Proposal Manager is working closely with the team and delivering first class pitch documents
- Drive strategy for Key Account Management
- Own relationships with clients and initiate feedback structures to improve the firms relationships
- Create client review structures to maximise relationships with existing clients and drive additional revenues
- Lead the team and develop team members, create a shared vision for the purpose of the department
- Work with fee-earners to enhance CRM usage and the value created by these tools
- Experienced BD professional with considerable experience working with law firms
- Degree educated
- Significant knowledge of strategic planning and projects
- Ability to work closely with partners and other fee earners
- Proven track record of implementing strategy and delivering results
