Working closely with partners, business development teams, and senior stakeholders, you will lead the development of winning pursuit strategies and manage complex opportunities from qualification through to submission and post-bid review.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the end-to-end management of bids and pursuits, from opportunity qualification through to submission, presentations, and post-pursuit analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Develop compelling win strategies, value propositions, and key messaging tailored to client requirements and market opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with stakeholders across the business to influence pursuit strategy, maximise competitive positioning, and support revenue growth.<\/li>\n<li>Drive bid and pursuit best practice, ensuring high-quality, client-focused submissions that meet all compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse bid performance, feedback, reporting, and win-rate data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain bid content, pursuit tools, proposal systems, and knowledge resources to enhance efficiency and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior bids and pursuits professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with business development teams and senior leadership to foster a high-performing, commercially focused growth culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years&#8216; experience in bids, pursuits, proposals, or business development within legal, professional services, or a comparable environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience managing complex, strategic opportunities and delivering successful work-winning outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior professionals confidently.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional proposal writing, editing, and content development skills, with the ability to articulate clear and persuasive value propositions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing and implementing pursuit strategies, win themes, and competitive positioning plans.<\/li>\n<li>Strong coaching and leadership capabilities with experience supporting and developing junior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Degree educated or equivalent professional experience; APMP or similar bid qualifications
