They are seeking a <strong>Senior Non-Motor Claims Manager<\/strong> to be based in Dubai, UAE, responsible for leading and managing complex claims operations across multiple non-motor lines. This role is critical in ensuring technical excellence, governance, and cost control across the claims function. Success will be defined by the ability to manage high-value claims, lead a high-performing team, and deliver strong financial and operational outcomes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is a senior, technical leadership role with full ownership of non-motor claims across Property, Engineering &amp; Construction, Marine, Liability, and Financial Lines. The role requires deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder management, with responsibility for both local operations and regional alignment. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving claims performance, strengthening governance, and driving consistent service standards across the organization.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Lead and manage the Non-Motor Claims team, driving performance, technical capability, and governance standards<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Oversee end-to-end claims management across multiple lines including Property, Engineering, Marine, and Liability<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Exercise final decision-making authority on complex and high-value claims, ensuring sound judgment and compliance<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Provide technical oversight and guidance to regional teams to ensure consistency and quality<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, legal firms, loss adjusters, and external providers<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Collaborate with underwriting, finance, legal, and reinsurance teams to improve portfolio performance<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Drive recovery strategies including subrogation and salvage to optimize claims cost management<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, audit requirements, and internal governance policies<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Oversee reserving practices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with actuarial standards<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Monitor claims processes, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvements<\/p>\n<p>Support the team in handling complex claims through technical guidance and escalation management<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Drive service excellence through effective communication with clients and stakeholders<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Law, Insurance, or a related field<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Minimum 15 years of experience in non-motor claims across Property, Casualty, Engineering, Marine, and Liability lines<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulatory frameworks, and claims handling processes<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Proven ability to manage complex and high-value claims with strong technical judgment<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Strong negotiation skills, particularly in settlements involving legal stakeholders<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Excellent leadership and team management capabilities<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Professional certifications such as ACII are advantageous<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 7pt\">        <\/span>Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel and Power BI, is preferred<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><em>**Due to the high volume of applications, please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
