Trade Marketing Manager

The Trade Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing partnership marketing initiatives with B2B trade partners (tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs), travel agents, etc..). This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrates a keen understanding of B2B2C marketing strategies.
Area of Contribution
- Strategy Formulation: Collaborate with partners to conceptualize and plan co-marketing campaigns that align with the destination’s brand positioning and marketing objectives.
- Partnership Management: Organize and manage all partnership marketing activities across various partners and markets, maintaining a comprehensive overview throughout the year.
- Co-Marketing Campaign Development: Develop comprehensive campaign briefs to support partners, outlining objectives, target audiences, messaging, creative assets, and performance metrics.
- Relationship Building ▪ Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with partners, negotiating mutually beneficial campaign terms.
- Relationship Building ▪ Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive long-term partnerships Agency Coordination ▪ Coordinate all B2B2C activities with all relevant market GSAs (Global Sales Agents)
- Stakeholder Management ▪ Provide timely B2B2C campaign overviews to internal stakeholders, highlighting results and areas for optimization.
- Partner Accountability ▪ Manage all B2B partner marketing commitments, ensuring timely delivery of media plans across owned and paid channels.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field Professional Qualifications
- Certificate or post graduate degree in digital marketing, B2B marketing strategy is highly advantageous.
Experience
- 6 – 8 years of marketing experience within an agency, DMO, tour operator, DMC or travel agency
- Understanding and application of marketing fundamentals, destination marketing, and marketing platforms
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategy
- Experience in project management and budget management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders * Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Time management, resource allocation and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
