Internal Communications Specialist – 12-month FTC

£50,000 – £55,000

We are working with a global B2B organisation who are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Specialist. The role is pivotal in fostering a strong, engaged and informed workforce. Reporting into the Head of Internal Communications you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Message Development: Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that resonates with employees at all levels.
  • Channel Management: Oversee and optimise various internal communication channels, including intranet, email, newsletters, town halls, and social media platforms.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, such as articles, videos, infographics, and presentations, to engage employees and share important information.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement and build a strong company culture.
  • Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives by effectively communicating updates and addressing employee concerns.
  • Measurement and Analysis: Track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Background

  • Experience in internal communications gained working in a global B2B organisation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A skilled communicator and a passionate advocate for employee engagement.
