A leading forward-thinking law firm is looking for an experience Business Development Manager to join the team based in London at a pivotal moment in its growth journey.

As BD Manager, this role offers the chance to shape and drive strategic initiatives across London and selected international jurisdictions, helping to enhance visibility, deepen referrer relationships, and unlock new client opportunities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, manage a BD Executive, and collaborate with a high-performing Marketing & BD team to deliver strategic campaigns and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing BD plans aligned with strategic objectives
  • Cultivating relationships with key referrers in the private wealth and international sectors
  • Advising partners on marketing strategies to grow and diversify work streams
  • Managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused campaigns
  • Leading market research, campaign execution, and post-campaign analysis
  • Networking and identifying opportunities across target markets
  • Supporting wider marketing activities including events, pitches, PR, and digital content

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 5+ years of BD and marketing experience in professional services
  • Proven experience managing people and working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong project and account management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality work and driving positive change
