Universal Music is an American global music corporation that is a subsidiary of the French media conglomerate Vivendi. UMG were looking to hire a Senior Digital Business Manager to work closely with the VP of business development on structuring global deals and increase digital marketing opportunities – this was a global role.
Client’s Needs and Our Solution
UMG were looking for a Senior Digital Manager, initially they recruited this role directly and had an internal candidate that they wanted to offer however, after a change of circumstance, this never worked out. UMG engaged a couple of other agencies but were again unsuccessful no luck. We worked this role for a few weeks so were able to advertise, network and ask for recommendations.
After 6 weeks of interviews and presentations, UMG offered our candidate Sol Tricot who was formally of Lionsgate – which made him the perfect fit. Both sides were very pleased with the placement due to not only finding a correct skillset but, most importantly, a perfect cultural fit.
